Cattlefeed

• Markfed is having two Units situated at Gidderbaha and Kapurthala to manufacture Cattlefeed as per ISI Type-II specifications (pallet and Mash). Markfed also manufactures mineral mixture. It also produces High Energy Cattlefeed and Calf starter feed. Recently Markfed has added two more products namely Markfed 5000 and Markfed 8000 to its product range.

• New state of Art Cattlefeed plant has been setup at Kapurthala at total cost of Rs. 13.00 Crore (approx.), which has started commercial production in 2020. The new plant is totally PLC (Programmable Logic Control) based and is free from any human touch. Total automation is achieved through SCADA software (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).

• Both the units have capacity to produce 150 MT each of Cattlefeed per day.
